Hegemonia Display Font


This display Typeface designed by Backpacker is a vintage font inspired from lettering found on a 1900 stamp depicting the shield of the Principality of Samos.


The typeface comes in 3 optical sizes (from Display for large sizes to Small for smaller sizes) and has the unique feature of using latin numerals instead of regular numbers, together with their Greek acrophonic equivalent (as shown on Worfang Fugger’s copybook from 1553, a specimen found and presented on twitter by Tiro Typeworks on the 24th of January 2020).
